Dont Ask....

Well...its a Thursday, and I'm about to get ready to go to my favorite class of the week. I feel kind of sluggish, I'm not sure if its because I'm ready for school to be out, or because I just ate....probably both. Well anyways, on a good note, I see that the military has finished their research on how being gay could affect their readiness in a combat environment. I personally feel like it took them that long just to p;lease those who felt they shouldn't allow gays in the military more time to cope with the fact that change was going to happen one way or another! I think it was long over due...all of this "we need to do tests" crap was just stupid in my opinion. Hopefully the courts, or congress will pass whats needed to for those who want to serve openly in the military can now do so.

But enough with politics, I have been staring at my new camera for some time now, and every time I look at the box I slowly start to undress it with my eyes lol....I really want to take pictures with it, and shoot HD videos and what not. I stay up all hours just on YouTube looking at others having fun with their canon SX20IS's as well as the specs, and I'm dying to use mine! I'll post some of the videos of the ones I love so you all can see how great the camera is =] well that's all for today. I have to shower and get ready for class.

I cant feel my face...

Sorry for being away so long. School has been kicking my ass now for the past week, and for a second I didn't think I was going to make it! Well, on a good note, I bought the new Kanye West album, and I love it! It is different ,and more unique than I'm used to hearing from him. I also bought a new camera =] Its a Canon SX30IS ...the one with the 14 mega pixel 35x zoom point and shoot SLR hybrid one lol. Though I want to open it and use it right this minute...Its a gift to myself and plan to wait until Christmas, if that's possible. I have also been on Black Ops a lot! The more I play, the more I realize how addicting that game is lol. I played it 2 days straight with some friends to release the build up of stress from having to study and take an sociology exam, write a 10 minute speech, and a 9 page review on a documentary all in the span of 3 days! I had headaches for 3 days after all was said and done. I wish schools and teachers would get together  and plan together their agenda's or something, because sometimes getting hit with so much shit to do for 4 or 5 different classes all at the same time is just ridiculous! That makes having a life if not non existent, just about impossible! [Sigh] well...I guess its back to school stuff...

Ok, I have to start out by saying that Call of Duty Black Ops is by far the best game they have ever made to date! After playing it all week, I can conclude that im not the only one that feels this way after seeing and playing with the hundreds of thousands of gamers that are on every time I get online. I decided to take some time out, and show a glimpse of some of the online game play for all to view on my blog, as well a chance to check out a new track produced by my partner producer Crates Soc. Call Of Duty Blacks Ops

So its the night of the greatest game release of the year. I'm driving to the Game Stop that I usually go to to pick my games up from, and I'd like to state for the record that I got there 2 and half hours before the game was to come out at midnight. So as I pull up I realized that the long group of people rapped around the corner is the line of people waiting for the game to be released too! So on my LONG walk to the back of the line, I hear others talking in the gamers spirit about how they plan to kill all the noobs and campers, and rank in the top ten...etc. As all of this takes place, one of the Game Stop employees walks up to me and asks if I got my highlighted ticket? And as he noticed the unfamiliar look come over my face, he then stated that it would be impossible to get my game with out it. So now I'm making my way to the front door, as I go in and get my ticket, I come back to find that the line has grown and to my amazement, my spot was lost in the crowd, so off to the end I go AGAIN! 

The minutes are ticking down now, and I can finally picture myself playing COD as clear as day with in the next hour. The doors open and the line starts to really move. As people come out and head to their cars, the sound of screeching tires fill the air as dozens of people run to their cars almost as a way to show how serious they were about getting home asap to play the game. So I finally go in, get my game, and head home. I put it in and as usual, the game grabs me! For hours I played as if I hadn't a care in the world. Lucky for me, I had no classes that day, so I played ALL day, and ALL night. The game feels as though they took COD World at War, and COD ModernWarfare2 and merged them into one! The game feels greater than any other COD game I have played to date. It feels WAY smoother than the last 2. I also like that new customization features as well as the new currency setup. Being able to buy stuff like red dots for your weapons without having to kill a thousand people with the previous accessory really helps! The maps are WAY better, and bigger.  I love this game so far and I haven't played half the game modes in it yet. I hear that the Zombie mode is Sick! I don't think I'll get much sleep this weekend. 

Prop19 Fails!!! =[

Its a sad day for pot smokers, or those who like the idea of Cali going green. Proposition 19 took a hit 56% saying no to 44% saying yes. I honestly thought that California would say yes to the idea of a new way to generate income, thus digging themselves out of that 12 billion dollar hole they currently sit in, not to mention the money saved on legal fee's associated with breaking in houses and arresting and locking people up over it.

Forget that it would be economically beneficial to the state, it would also be a model to other states if done right, on just how stereotypes mislead people into thinking weed is something its not...Its safer than cigarettes, alcohol and crack, or cocaine! You can still function while on it, You don't see things that aren't there...and you wont be tempted to commit crimes while on it. With so many people for it, I honestly expected it to win, but it goes to show you what happens when those who believe in something don't go out and vote!

[Sigh] I guess this means another 2 years before marijuana can have another chance to be taken out of its taboo context, and brought to light, as alcohol once was after prohibition ended....

T.I. Wont Be Charged in latest Drug Arrest!!!

I'm working on some new music for an artist and I decided to take a break and check out today's latest entertainment gossip/stories. So I hopped on twitter and come across a post that read "T.I. Wont Be Charged in L.A. Drug Arrest!!!". Instantly I'm like wtf? How? So I jump on the link and did some more research and found that TMZ reports that the L.A. County District Attorney has rejected the drug case pending from his arrest last month due to legal problems with the case.

It turns out that the D.A's Office chose not to go forward with charges because he has already been sentenced to prison because the arrest was a violation of his federal probation. the Police stated that there was significant legal issues over probable cause which led them to arrest the rapper. Cops claimed they had smelled marijuana but did not book any into evidence, and said that he was pulled over after making an illegal U-turn prior to any registration check! Sadly he is still expected to serve out his 1 year sentence due to the arrest being a violation of his parole.

I personally believe they had it out for him because if Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan can do what they do and get a slap on the wrist...that just goes to show you how full of S*** things can be! I hope they reconsider the sentence and either dismiss it, or shorten the sentence by ALOT! I know there are some who may feel different........So let me know what you think! Should they let him go? Lock him up and throw away the key? What do you think!

Kanye West's - Runaway (Short Film)

Kanye West has a short film out titled "Runaway". It is a really nice short film and I have to say he gives the viewers/fans a nice inside look into the artistic mind of the music genius himself. The film is a musical, and its fairly interesting. I was left with the question, whats it about? I thought at first it could of been about him and his personal life clashing with his music life. Or perhaps his old self (before he made it) clashing with his new self (him up until the Taylor Swift incident) which I could see making total sense. And then I realized, he was probably talking about both! The video was really creative, and original in my opinion. I also get the feeling this is a look into his new album which if so, sounds like a beautiful album! I hope this film will be included in the special edition version of his album. If this is the result of him f****** up at the VMA's last year with Taylor Swift, then I'm glad to see the turn around! I think its done wonders for him, and I think its because he finally saw the person he had become from the person he once was...

Now for those who think this film is so strange its stupid...I totally could see how you could think so. Its really out there, and I'm sure that some of his fans who are fans of the graduation album and the ones that came before 808's and Heart Break will have issues with this short film...this might be a stretch too far for some fans...I personally love the film and all of his music. I feel like this is art at its best, when it becomes hard to grasp and leaves one thinking, "what the f***?". I think that this is Kanye at his best. All of his albums sound different, and are all different reflections of him at different times of his life and career! If you listened to 808, the stuff he did at the VMA's wasn't much of a surprise...that album in my opinion was him at a dark point in his life, just like graduation was him happy and accepting his fame and glory and all he had achieved so far in his music career. This video seems to show that Kanye is at a point in his life were he knows now that he let so much get to him, and change him...I consider this the realization period  or, the turn around period.

Well that's pretty much my thoughts on this film, and Mr. West. I loved the film, and I hope to hear and see more wonderful things from him.

Green Meat!!!

So...I'm sitting in a study hall at the University of Houston with my new subway sandwich (subway club) and I was craving it like CRAZY! I had to walk in the heat to the law school area to get my sub. So I finally get there and they tell my friend and I with whom I was having lunch with as soon as we walked through the door, that they didn't have anymore lettuce! So after careful consideration, my friend and I decided to go ahead and get our subways clubs any way. We figured with three types of meats on the sandwich and all the extra stuff we put on it that having no lettuce wouldn't be as bad as we had previously thought. So after waiting in line and paying for our meals, we get back to the study building and get all  set up to sit and enjoy our meals when something told me to check my sub. We had noticed in line that the meat kind of looked weird, but we thought maybe we were just tripping...until we opened our sandwich's and saw the horror!!!! Don't see it yet? Here, maybe in this one...

So now you should be able to see some greenish, orange fish scale looking stuff on my roast beef! So after looking at this strange meat, we packed up camp, and walked ALL the way back to the subway in the law building. We get there and they tell us that its totally natural and normal for roast beef to look like that...I asked her then why is this my first time ever seeing this? And she said "Because it shows up on some roast beef, and not others"...So after she realized we were not going to take her word for it, she then offered us new sandwiches (Spicy Italian) and said she understands why we felt the way we did. I then persuaded her to give me a free cookie, and chips...and she let me and my friend have chips, drinks, and a cookie on the house. I still don't know if its normal for roast beef to look like this...but I do know one thing, until I do, I don't plan on eating any greenish orange roast beef!

Willow Smith Kills Bieber!!!!

Ok, well I would like to first start off by saying that I'm no Bieber hater by far, I think he's a talented young artist who in time I hope to see mature into something nice. On the other hand, Willow Smith is killing it with her hot new single, "Whip my hair". She has been getting CRAZY attention from the media, as well as fans and for some odd reason, TONS of haters. At the age of nine, Willow has started her music carrier to what seems to be a great start. Her new single hit me instantly, and the video had me from the start! Being that I am a music producer, looking at it from a producers stand point, I would have to say that the producers, song writers, and A&R's involved did a BEAUTIFUL job creating this song and displaying her talent! The beat gives you that griddy dance feel from the start, and the chorus....ahhhh, the chorus, if you weren't sold on the beat from the start, then the chorus doomed you! But really, the song is a really hype song, and it really shows exactly what she's capable of.

Now for the "haters" part. I don't understand how so many people can hate on this little girl for doing what she loves to do! I have read blog posts, and watched many video blogs about how her song sucks, she's not talented at all because she's using auto tune (which she's not), her parents are bad for forcing her to do things in the entertainment world, thus robbing her of her "childhood". I understand that some wont like her for their own reasons, and that everyone is entitled to their own opinion on what ever it may be, but really? The kind of language used when talking about her is somewhat disturbing to say the least! And trust me, I'm no angle when it comes to shit talking, seriously! But enough of that..."haters" will be "haters", and life will go on...
